EagleCard

EagleCard is the permanent identification card for CSC students, faculty and staff. It provides access to numerous campus services.

The EagleCard is valid as long as the cardholder is enrolled or employed at Chadron State College. You should bring your EagleCard back to campus every academic year.

To Obtain Your EagleCard

To obtain your EagleCard:

Prepare your photo for electronic submission. Please ensure it meets the following  requirements. 

  • The photo must have a light grey or white background color.  
  • The photo should be a current photo of your head and shoulders (portrait shot). 
  • Your face must be clearly visible and facing forward – no profile shots, sunglasses, hats, or head bands.  No graduation caps, gowns, or costumes may be worn.   
  • Nothing can be touching your face such as hands, props or other distractions. 
  • You must be the only person in the photo. 
  • Please do not lighten/darken the photo.

NOTE: Google Chrome is the recommended browser to use when submitting your photo.

Once the photo has been submitted, we will notify you via email with further instructions.

EagleCard photos are maintained by CSC and can be used to conduct official college business. The EagleCard is non-transferable and is the property of Chadron State College.

EagleCard Replacement

There are several scenarios where you may require a replacement ID. In any of the instances described below, you will need a government issued photo identification to obtain your replacement ID. In most cases, you will be required to pay a $25.00 replacement fee.

Lost or Stolen: If your EagleCard is lost or stolen, you are responsible for all transactions until your card is reported missing. Therefore, it is important to contact the IT Help Desk immediately, either in person or by calling 308.432.6311.

Upon notification of a lost or stolen card, all access to EagleCard services will be disabled until a replacement ID has been generated. The missing ID will be deactivated. Once deactivated, a card cannot be reactivated.

To replace a missing ID, you must pay a $25.00 replacement fee at the Business Office located at Crites Hall, room 115. You will be provided a receipt. Take your receipt to the IT Help Desk, where you will receive your replacement EagleCard ID.

Damaged: Your EagleCard is considered damaged if the photo is obscured or if the card has holes or cracks.

To replace a damaged card, you must pay a $25.00 replacement fee at the Business Office located at Crites Hall, room 115. You will be provided a receipt. Take your receipt to the IT Help Desk, where you will receive your replacement EagleCard ID.

Does Not Scan: If your card has suddenly stopped scanning correctly and does not show signs of damage, bring the card to the IT Help Desk. The Help Desk worker will communicate with IT personnel to determine if the card has become faulty.

If it is determined to be a faulty card, your EagleCard will be replaced at no charge.

If it is determined to have been damaged, you must pay a $25.00 replacement fee at the Business Office located at Crites Hall, room 115. You will be provided a receipt. Take your receipt to the IT Help Desk, where you will receive your replacement EagleCard ID.

Name Change: If your name has changed, the Chadron State College student or personnel name records must be updated before a replacement EagleCard can be generated. Please see Change of Name information.
